We studied the trade-offs of collaborative visualization for problem-solving in an asymmetric environment. This figure shows how two collaborators perceive and interact with visualizations using two different devices: VR (left) and PC (right). Visualizations are in different dimensions to adapt to different devices (i.e., 3D in VR and 2D on PC) and can be blended together (as envisaged in the center) with tailored techniques to support collaboration awareness.
