Exemplar figure, but none was provided by the authors — Cinematic scientific visualization of collapsing Vavilov ice cap, from the film "Atlas of a Changing Earth". This 3D topology is based on data from the ArcticDEM project, and the color comes from Landsat satellite photography. The visualization is by the Advanced Visualization Lab, National Center for Supercomputing Applications, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
